November 6, 2002 Willow announces the availability "viaMQ: Files".
"viaMQ: Files" enables existing applications that exchange data using files to now deliver those files to WebSphere MQ enabled applications (locally or remotely), or as files on another system over an MQ network. Detailed information here.
November 6, 2002

Willow launches its "viaMQ" brand.

viaMQ represents a range of application products that solve specific problems across a range of industries and environments.  As the name implies, all products use WebSphere MQ or MQ Everyplace as their transport.

Highlights:

  • viaMQ products are designed to allow easy customization to meet specific customer needs.

  • Many will interface to existing customer applications without the need for those applications to change.

  • viaMQ complements Willow's WebSphere MQ products.  Whereas WebSphere MQ provides a messaging infrastructure, viaMQ delivers solutions on top of that infrastructure.

  • viaMQ products will work with select WebSphere products from both Willow and IBM.
